David is finally home... again.

David came home on wednesday and I've been learning how to care for him and how to keep Evelyn from being more "help" than I need. She loves her baby brother and loves to help Mommy to take care of him. Yesterday I left the kids together in the living room, David on the couch and Evie was on the floor playing, I went to fix one of his medications and I couldn't have been gone for more than a minute. When I walked through the doorway I saw that Evie had climbed up on the couch and was laying on top of David shoving a binky in his mouth. I couldn't help but laugh as I rushed over to rescue David.

I love that she loves her little brother and likes to help me take care of him but I have learned that I cannot leave her alone with him no matter how short of time it is.

Cleaning my house

Life sure has been pretty crazy the last few months but hopefully things will settle down soon. David should be coming home from the hospital tomorrow and we are so excited to have our family all under one roof.

I've been going crazy trying to get the house clean and ready for him but I've discovered as most mothers have that having a clean house is a never ending job, as soon as I get the dishes all done there always seems to be a new pile waiting to be washed the same holds true for laundry. You might think I'm crazy but I'm glad that I enjoy cleaning. The hard part for me is keeping Evie out of trouble while I'm trying to do it. On the weekends it's a lost cause, I absolutely cannot clean when Michael is home, I'm not sure why but it just never happens so Monday's are my biggest cleaning days.
